today was a great day spending time with a great friend. well. it''s that same girl.
haha.

and tomorrow is national day!!

and for once, that girl was late.so surprising!! haha

as i was roaming around plaza sing, i picked up a yellow top. something i got on 'implulse'. but i know i won't regret. cos suddenly, i just had this desire to have need to own a yellow top today. which i so do not have. so when i walked into U2 today, they were having nice sales still! and so.. hehe. i whipped out my atm!

then i met Her at about 2 plus. at raffles city. nice place! it's newly renovated. anyone who's free can go there and check it out. and it's a much brighter place now. the basement we're talking about. maybe because the retail items there come in cheery colours now.

and you know dearie, did you realise, we didnt feel like that place is as tai tai and high-classy as the vibe it used to send out to us.

lunched at pizza place. and got exactly the same thing we got the last time. missed the pizza there loads since the last time we were there! it was the creamy cheese i was missing mainly.

tried gloria jeans coffee.bumped into wende. looking a lot better, but ONLy because he was in some smart army uniform! dunno what dept though.

while walking around raffles city, my darl said we would've had so much more choices for dinner if it were renovated sooner.but being there, and walking around jason's market place again made it feel like we had to go work again later.'eh what you having for dinner? oops! almost five already' i remember those times. it's been so loong since we worked together!or did the night shift together.


then we walked to my beloved place. frutta la Viva!and for the first time, i rightfully, legally Bought my first cup of gelato there. lovely three flavours of mango,frutti de bosco and ciocclato.chocolate la.wished there were more chocolate and less mango though. and going there first time as a customer. well, our service is good. but it didnt feel funny to be 'served' by alvin or david anyway.frutta will Always BE THE BEST! and will always BE in my Heart!!!

new flavour durian!! looking at the tub, made me think that the durian itself was just picked out directly from the durian and put into the 4 litre tub to be frozen to become durian gelato!

then we sat there for some time and then as nightfall approached i left to join my folks and leave her in the care of her other :P

and then all reverted back to its normalcy. porridge buffet place at balastier. then back home.

and tomorrow is national day! i like national day songs. 'five stars arising' reminds me of the time we listened to it as a class in p5 music lesson. then there's 'where i belong' by tanya chua. and that other one.. 'little things?' hearing those songs just evoke this goody nice nice warm feeling in me.and hopefully you too!

i heard them playing when i was at the merlion area, before the fireworks festival. and on the way to dinner on the expressway, i saw fireworks in the distance.

and then i came home. and looked at my pointe shoes. still haven darn finish.
and tried on my soft pointe shoes. the brand new pair. and tried to do temps lie in it. and i can Go And Die.

and did i mention, the 8th of august, is exactly ONE MONTH away from my 8 sept ballet exam.

and i still can't do anything.
when ms ong comes back next week. seat belts on and prepare for the worse. and please. no more crying ok?
