This week is really ballet week :/
we're starting to think, talk,breathe,eat,listen,travel ballet.
today as i was sitting in promotional comm lecture. i suddenly fancied the idea of sitting in a lecture hall learning dance instead like muscle movements or the science of balance in ballet or the history of it all. dreaming of how after lect we were to go to a dance studio and hop around in leotards and tights.doing free classes,body conditioning like the scene in centerstage.what a priviledged life tt will be. studying in a dance school! having people all around you who understand n dance too!imagine a whole LT!
tomorrow will be my first journalism tutorial w the very smart guy.Dr cherian george starting at nine.
actually, i've really got nothing to say.
But this week, as i anyhow flipped to James, knowing there'll be good stuff in there,
a verse i will keep reviewing this week shall be that.
James 1 in particular.
vs 2 and 3,
'my brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into diverse temptations;knowing this,that the trying of your faith worketh patience'.
yea. patiece. to wait for the bus and travel here and there.. and the word 'temptations' also refers to trials. and the JOY!! a very short nice word which means so much! a really high state of euphoria and so much more.
vs 4,5,6
'But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire,wanting nothing.If any of you lack wisdom,let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally,and upbraideth not;and it shall be given to him.
But let him ask in faith,nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.'
and asking for wisdom.ask and it SHALL be given!! and what's the talk about Waves!! hehe. WAVES!!!

vs 12
'Blessed is the man that endureth temptation:for when he is tried,he shall receive the crown of life,which the Lord hath promised to them that love Him.'
..to them that love Him. makes me draw a parallel to romans 8:28!! the 'all things work together for good to them that love Him'
however, im rather unwilling to allow my chocolate cravings to come under the umbrella of the 'temptation' word!
vs 17
'Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above,and cometh down from the Father of lights,with whom is no variableness, neither any shadow of turning.''
just reminds me of the song 'look at the world'
and a reminder that, really everything is from above. and there's much to be thankful for.
ps: the Father of lights phrase, makes me think of deepavali really. festival of lights??
i just wanted to share these few verses. cos other than that, i really have nothing to say. school's nice in a novel kinda way.
although from peiyan's descriptions she's having a lot of activities and things to do! and she's so exciting!
im really doing none of those. having a quiet slow time. still doing introductions the slow shy way.
But in time to come, i know i'll find it and get it all together :) just nice and slow.
one thing which really touched me this week, was reading a church kid's blog. George's blog. no hiding.
he's really so cute and heart warming!
i read a few more of his posts, and after each, i just want to smile.
God must be hugging him very tightly every single day!
the simple yet hearfelt proclamations of god's grace upon him, his changed perceptions and attitudes. he's so grateful for everything! every out of the blue w/o a link, he'll just say he loves God. and all the people around him. he really knows how to count his blessings! (where else can such a jovial spirit come from if not given from above?)
and i like that better.
that is True, Working faith. as compared to 'nice to hear n read' stuff i may spit out on the sunday school forum really.
