all the free time in the world!!
now the test of how to use my time wisely..what would u do given all the time you have now? no more obligations or duties. you feel lost. then u start to wonder. what have i been living for alll this while?
how can i spend my time wisely pleasing in God's sight? [needs careful thinking]
Managed to wake up at 647 this morning without the help of an alarm clock. and today, i could take my time and look out the window into the sky and breathe in the cool air again. :) i realised the feel of it is very much the same morning air when u step out of the lodge in australia or aunty jess's house in cm. just not as cool.
however, the window grilles impede and i feel like a little caged person. the juxtaposition of me in a lil hdb unit looking out at the vast immense sky. no one cares who looks out in the morning. but hey! you enjoy the beauty still. and everyone rushes off to work or watch primetime morning or sth, which can be very informative.they too think its a fresh new morning. but it never gets fresher than looking up into the sky! if not for this entry, facing the com and tv always makes me feel as if im getting polluted.
i like to look up into the sky and see the clouds. and sunlight peeking behind it.
it has this calming effect. really beautiful.
and then you start to think of God's creation and how he made the earth, and mountains! and its so wonderful..the wonder of it all. but now there's that theory of fold mountains and atmospheric conditions, and the causes of such beauty becomes so academic and technical. the appreciation is much lost just thinking of all the processes which led to its result.
i still like the creation take on it.
maybe cos i cant think very much now and am too lazy to learn properly what really happens. maybe im one who won't care to know and just hobble around in 'the unknown' and the vague.
but to put it all in one breath- 'look at the skies and mountains! God created it!' is so simple and true. as compared to textbooks and theories worth of literature but on the same topic.
sometimes, looking up into the sky just makes u wanna smile. and think of that far-off place which Jesus has gone and prepared for us. and you think..God!!! i wanna join you there!
