i have this tendency to begin with writing somethings really silly.
hmm..
stepping back into the home, thinking of what to eat, a bunch of small bananas( e easily rotten kind) on the kitchen counter greeted me lovingly!they almost looked like the were shiny gold bananas in that rich yellow colour! i slabed peanut butter onto it and ate it that way! yummy yummy! banana peanut butter!
right. now that im here i cant think of anything to write. drinking nature's tea again. waking up to a pile of body waste tomorrow i hope. let it steep for 15 min, when instructions was five. mighty stomach pains! come! greet me~!
oh has it ever occured to anyone what a difference a day makes?
yesterday and today. separated by a mere 24 hours in between and the stark difference. im having relaxed heart rates now, relaxed facial muscles. almost smiling and already bobbing around in the air. i had a slow dinner, and even watched oh carol! and shooting stars. and yesterday was pouring over the books, and trying to. though the dining table still has remnants of whatever was studied.
im glad its over. its amazing how its all over. and time really passed me by.
today marks the end of the worst for now. human geog and econs in a day! 5 hr 15 min of essay writing! even my pen died on me..i dont even study that long! i think exams bring out the best in my discipline :) at other times, its negligible.
my dad keeps asking me how was the paper. what am i to say? it's always the same anyway. i dont know how to ans. so i don't. but i find that, its only in exams my brain really starts working where i think of greater things and go wow! but too late, cos i lack the sufficient knowledge, and the minute exam ends, i forget that great thot. eg: like how everything links in the world of economics. or how some developing countries are really very poor thing. and they're in suffering and poverty even as we fancifully write about them in our geog essays. which im sure they dont care about. whats e use? of sitting in an aircon room, penning it all down and thinking, 'yay! the marks are mine!' ( in the day when i know my stuff) when the very population you're writing about is diminishing as rapidly as more babies are born only to suffer in their impoverished state. and the stupid tnc or lousy corrupt government bully them. this is really called, out of sight, out of mind. think of the mass numbers of students taking A levels each year, and all that knowledge passes through our mushy brains and nothing is done. because we are in singapore. and it all seems just like a story in a particular kwazulu area.in which we laugh at the names and there it ends. oh yea, in Nigeria, the people are forced to migrate and live in ujamma's and abujas! yea, come let's laugh together. HAHAHA!
anyway, thanks idz for the reminder! 60 plus days to freedom. maybe slightly a lil more--70 plus. oh whatever it is, i'll be looking forward!
from now till thursdae, it'll be mr tim dore's.
now where did my writing juice go to? i cant think of what to say..
the j1 councilors are really peanuts. too bad for them they occurred after our batch of councilors.the amount of effort they put in the banner making and school decoration is so slip shodily done! it makes me sick! yes. if im so smart. i should do it myself. i know my art sucks too. but. they are doing sth for the sch, on a higher level. effort. is what they lack. anywae, y do i even bother to talk about them and their lousy work? im leaving soon and i really shouldnt care. but the first thing tt greets my eyes in the canteen is the horrible banner! its not even the sin of lust my eye commits by looking at it. it's just in front of me! how to not let the gawdy colours pollute my vision?
oh yes! personal achievement: i changed my bedsheets today! it feels really much different and my bed appeals so much more. :) sweeet dreams to me tonight! absence of bedbugs!
feeling my eyelids get droopy. gonna slp earlier tonight and start the day again tmr. yay! a break tmr. cant say it's well deserved. but i'll embrace it with open arms all the same :)
and before i crashed, here's what i found..
'guess one of the reasons why i really like Lewis is because i can understand his feeling of wanting to write of other worlds, and other lands, because inside him is just this longing for something bigger, better, greater;something made perfect and beautiful by the presence of the Divine, yet still real and understandable to our human understanding.'
