being stuck at home the whole day is seriously no joke. not that im any more productive in work output. and worse..the feeling of wanting to get out is even stronger!

sigh. didnt go for ballet today. now that's three weeks in a row. i feel..un-danced. if there's such a word. i don't know of any word which can depict the feeling. maybe something like 'misplaced sexual energy' in oryx and crake. haha.opressed and supressed. naah..im exaggerating this. i guess i totally fail as an utopian author :P

i may become too didactic, too cerebral, expressing too many lofty ideas for the good of anyone, just to make them feel sick in the gut.

going by character i put the limelight on the voice of this blog. the highly dramatised me. haha. a believable example of a total failure tt audience can relate to. yay to me. if i succeed in any way, may that be it. if i shock readers into anything, maybe my life will appall them that i may gain some redeeming salvation and receive help of some kind :P

what may put people off..

if one sounds like they continually have an 'intellectual axe to grind' (may use tt in my essay) or use too much of their own lingo and audience can't understand. somewhat like ' diaox,todaex,hu,veli..etc' or if used in moderation can actually work the other way and amuse readers and they pursue the text. eg:'gahmen, deng gew fever, certificate of egibity etc' rockson is a funny lil fellow~
more intellectual/higher standard examples include, the lingo invented in lotr, or newspeak,1984. or ACO.

or

simply plain boring.

going by anything, i have totally no link. i am so pissed with the fact im so unfocussed. across boards, all feedback i get is to be more focussed. and it doesn't help knowing about your problem but can't really solve it cos u don't quite know how, or merely caught up with viscious tendencies to get carried away. i need to link. link and link. link back to the question!

utopia. touches on human folly and human hope.

oscar wilde 'progress is the realisation of utopias'

Anatole France 'cut out generous dreams come beneficial realities'
'utopia is the principle of all progress and the essay into a better future.'

'the visionary man's utopia is all too often the common man's dystopia'

why can there never be a perfection, a utopia? because ' Dystopia is merely a compliment to Utopia, albeit an indispensable complement.'

satisfying one component of a problem is society is not a cure all. it breeds other loopholes, sometimes far worse or more dire than the original problems. culminating in a derogative human race.does techonology solve all? today's news report(yea, i browsed thru saturday's papers which managed to make way into my home): IVF may not always work, despite people thinking it'll solve problems of infertility which comes with age. so what if you manage to breed a kid but that kid has increased risks of genetic problems and deformity, under nourished etc? there you have it more problems.
as hyper as i am, to overstate out of proportion, imagine a future population with increased cases of intellectually disabled homo sapiens as a result of delayed pregnancies? oh oops! i forgot. in this economically, profit oreinted and apathetic age we live in, the child wld've already been aborted. hmm..technology again.the false optimism technology brings. i love technology and what science can do! the impassive generation of us.the paradox of humanity today

death of thought. so cheem sounding to me. it's as good as brain dead. all of us. walking replicas of one another. how nice. 'i think xxx is really cool! the show on saturday night was hilarious! i loved the way xxx did yyy.you know i really hate/love the way people yyy .' wah! so opinionated this person! bullshit! a million other people thot e same things cos it was a provided opinion of one lil brain, shortchanged of due credit he deserves.what to do. somehow, everyone easily takes an obsessive liking to mere suggestions w/o thinking for themselves. seeking solace in falsehood and artificiality.

'the subjugation of private space to the demands of public intervention shows how mentally and spiritually dead people have become.'

left alone in your room w/o the compute any random day and you're bored to tears. why? cos you're brain dead. you need the tv, the computer, the internet, computer games, anything. our brains have become like soft sponge jelly. spongebob squarepants and the heightened emphasis of 'sponge' doesnt make it better. sponge brained square pants.

suppression of individuality.
yet man craves to be special and unique in their very own way.
where everyone's like everyone else. and everyone belongs to everybody.

why write in the first place?

cos 'writiers write about what worries them'.
social commentary of the social, economic or religious condition of society today.
warning to future generations of dangers. of continual progress. progress enables a better world. but where's the line drawn? the limitation?
study of human condition.
man's desire to critque society.

--> is this all?
