just got back from luke's choir concert. well actually more recognised as 'aj choir concert'. but since luke's e only fella we know frm aj choir, we shall call it 'luke's concert'! well it was good, but some pieces were not done as well as it should've beeen. luke sang solo for the closing song. isn't that like whoa! limelight! good job luke! (tho he won't see this anyway)he did a marvellous fanatastic job~!

and, well seeing all the 'glitz and glamour' of the stage, i had only one tiny experience, and with each passing year,'one' gets added to -the number of years ago- i did that. to date, its been three yrs since 'just dance' my first and prolly last time on stage. and tonight made me realise that i missed being on stage. a proper one. not like tt of jj or some cc dinner. well, come 15 april, i'll be on kallang theatre's stage, nice and big. maybe that's another reason why i'm putting up with dance. cos i know the end result, and the day we dance the actual thing will be exhilarating.

that aside, looking into where my dancing may take me, i dont see much in it. as yet, all we ever look at is exams now. my next aim for ballet (which ive mentioned before) is to go for my Adv 1 exam next year. by then i'll be 19 and not any younger. after tt it'll be 20, and uni stuff. and then when do i get to dance again? to go on stage? also, ms ong doesn't seem to have the energy to hold another performance. its physically, mentally and financially draining. i understand.

so when will i get to go dancing on stage again? huh? huh?

im not even good enough to be a performer in future, not to mention im too fat for any of tt sort of thing. besides, the only career path i can look at concerning ballet, is be a teacher?! but people only teach after they're done with their dancing and performing years! not go straight into teaching after all those years of hardwork and sweat!

i've expressed my interest in teaching ballet. however, if not for the fact tt i was so fat, i would dare, w a lil more confidence, to say i wanna perform!! before teaching.

when will my little chance come for a big me?

hmmmm...

darn! the stage is a lovely place to be. for that lil moment, you get to forget yourself and bask in the '[stage]light(s)'. to display the master piece tt you've worked at since forever.to have tt confidence in urself, and know tt others are watching you. but most of all, to dance for yourself because tt's what you always liked/wanted/loved.

it's on the stage, where we dare to show ourselves and we build our confidence. because we know we are capable of something,at least up on that elevated 'pedestal' than down in the crowd of people -- 'just a face in the crowd'.
