i may shoot myself for ever doing this. this shall be the first time im dissing someone online. hmm actually not. but you can choose to be honoured by it all the same. im not requiring that you read of this. cos it'll be better if you dont.
gosh. its been one whole week before i realised, because i happened to click around too much.
just get this straight. today, i realised, once again that its very easy to mis-interpret people.when i asked about your grades im sorry i didnt know my comments would affect you so much.i saw your jump in grades as a hope and motivation for me and not as evidence of 'oh my!! you really are a mugger!'. maybe its due to the past stereotypes which many people have attatched to your name-mugger, tt u reacted in the way you did.
seriously, what's wrong with being a mugger. let me state my personal case. for me, recognising you as a mugger, would not be seen in the light of disgust. infact, i will shamefully admit that i often exault the fact, in admiration and awe. at your discipline and will-power and determination. all of which i lack greatly. no one thinks that you study all day. cos we all know fairly well, you indulge in your fair share of leisure time daily. all we often talk about is the greater proportion of hours you put into study as compared to an average person. you know as i type and type i have the urge to just go totally explicit.
ok that aside.
it irks me to think that you so broadly generalised that everyone who doesnt do something conducive to academics in their free time is wasting time. that, i would beg to differ. though there are times, i admit which are seriously wasted.and socialising doesnt mean talking all day about fashion and movies. that would really be bimbotic and shallow(tell me, surely tt's not your perception of girls). infact, topics of conversation are a far cry from what you cited as examples.yes i appluade the fact that you prefer to increase your general knowledge in your free time but at the same time, you also have to be aware of others interests such as building good people skills. of interacting with one another with intellectual talk and not mindless ramblings of the latest fashion trends.its only a small group of spastic girls who talk such crap that mares the rest of the population of girls. seriously, who really cares about what's going on in hollywood when we're all seated in some hot canteen on a hot sunny day in singapore?
i understand where you're coming from, but please, also consider the other side of the story carefully. often, all is not what it seems. delve deeper and open your eyes. and to your goals and aspirations, i wish you all the best truely. you work hard for it, so you deserve it. i congratulate you on being so focused and far sighted.
and one more thing you might need to commit to learning- please do not center yourself and leave out the other parties concerned as if the lone figures were just there to antagonise you and increase your sorrow. you havent even been victimised!
seriously, if you dont think yourself a mugger, you wouldnt even have to speak up and defend yourself in the first place. and since you've done that, the cause of your case is truly questionable. i know you take pride in what you do. so dont try to hide it. your willpower was prolly a God given gift too,not many people have. although i agree the mugger title can be bothersome at times.
on random thought
im starting to think the term 'good guy' should be classified an oxymoron.
