Sometimes, i wonder how are things ever possible, but always forget that God is IN control! some things, we human's will never understand but God can and will work in His ways. i always wondered how was it ever possible for anyone to convert and i guess its really by the spirit's working within them.

take for example, andrea, well, she became a christian, i dunno how long ago, but recently when i asked her to come to church one sunday as visitation, she said she couldnt cos she had to accompany her dad to another church-- he was a new christian. and i was thinking, it must be so wonderful for her that her father was becoming more receptive to the gospel. God work's in wonderous ways. i guess no amount of evangelising can ever work, if God's spirit is not there.and reversely, if no evangelising takes palce, but if that person truely seeks, indeed he will find.

secondly, i see another school mate of mine. another close friend, and fellow og mate. (of course! all my close frens were from my og) you know, the typical buddhist family, where her mum would occasionally go to the temple and get some blessings and whatever. i think that's what happens. well, recently, she got attatched, and yes, her boyfriend is a chrisitian. i dont know if he's gonna introduce her to christianity, but recently, i also found out that her dad had been a christian for about 11 months now, eversince the beginning of this year, and he was asking her to go to church with him. although her mum's not too happy about it (well, can understand that) i see it as a good sign. somehow, i feel as if, there's this possibility of her to become a christian. whether through her bf or her dad. like, she has two (close) figures in her life now who are christians, i seriously hope that one day, she too may come to the saving knowledge of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ. and erm, if any opportunity ever comes up for me to tell her, then yup, i guess i should. of course, with prayer and God's strength.

a pastor once said from the pulpit, 'there are three things you find out when you die. 1, many people you don't expect to see are there. 2, many people whom u expect to see, aren't there, and 3, most importantly, are you there yourself?

SO i guess no matter how 'cannot be' the case, God can always turn situations around :)

i was trying to sign in to blogger since 11 sth last night, but it couldnt get to the writing page. anyway, reached home at about 11 from town with lydia. had a fantabulous day out with her. laughed and kidd here and there. and then we met her fren dzamir for dinner and then we went to suntec to wait for her sis to pick us up.

and thru out the whole day, i was having tummyaches on and on. the wind kind. and i kept banging into everything and whacking things off the display shelf. haha lydia gave the..'what's with you?' look. i dunno? pms.and was feeling so crummy over weighty issues. cos i was like 57 yesterday, and it was super depressing. as lydia went shopping for clothes, she's rather upset she couldnt get her pair of dorothy perkin's pants, cos i claimed it was too big. haha. But i guess she thot so too, if not she wont listen to me:P i merely tried on a top while we were at foxwomen and got super more more depressed the whole day. my tummy was spilling out, my boobies were sagging and my arms were flabby. super horrible la. i looked like a 40 sth year old lady. (sth like my mummy)

then went to shit at suntec :P and when i reached home, tummy attack again, then i went to shit another time. then i went to sleep. when i woke up this morning, my tummy felt smaller and a lil not so bulgy. so i stepped on the scale, 55.5!!! haha. it mustve been shit accumulation the past two days. haha so i felt so relieved once more, and not so weighty. :)

oh but im STILL fat. just not murderously fat. not yet.

today, i woke up at 12.44. then i bummed around, and called my mummy at her office. haven't dialed that number in a long time, but i still remembered it, after fiddling around and thinking abit. and then next, they asked for extension no. i just tikum punched in 15 and yay! got it correct! all those previous years of calling her EVERY morning during the holidays, and over every little cock up in the house, and when my sis was being horrible and when i didnt do homework and that i was bored and all. aha it payed off, that today, i did remember the number and extension. :)

just got back from opposite--went to get lunch and another pen for tomorrow's paper. hahaha. havent done anything for chinese. later la. maybe i'll just look thru the 'feelings' handout.

its amazing how my folks dont really bother anymore if i come home late and stuff. at 10 sth last night, when i was on my way home, my mum merely called and said ' when u come home, drink your chrysanthemum ( she added honey! cos she washed e spoon herself ). its in the green cup.' ya. that's about it. haha then she went to sleep.

i now know the trick if you want your parents to nag less at you! it works! haha. the secret is this...
you just read your bible more often and then you be more obedient ( im not la haha)but that would be a bonus. then when they see that, wow! you're growing in Christ and growing up, and when they see the change in ya, they'll relax and not be so uptight cos they know that now, you have God as King of your life and thus, have nth to worry about. haha try it! :P

i guess the greatest joy of any christian parent is just to see their kid, know the Lord personally and accept Him. and inversely, the greatest hurt would be to see them stray away.

ya my two cents worth and a lil crap advice. it'll work ya know!

ok la but that doesnt mean you fake it all and purposely do all that. But seriously, if one were to just read around the bible more, you'll find a lot of truths, you'll change your thinking, mindset , goals and priorities. :)

and all that change, simply for the better! :)

ok its lunch time! time to dig in. sigh but im abit scared of the feeling of bloatedness nowadays. plus the water retention. pms! eurgh.

charlene said a lil' prayer for you at 2:11 PM
