heyy. im still up. been upto my usual browsing around online and reading blogs. and chatting. and now its almost three. i feel a lil lost now. tmr, going out w chris. havent done tt in a loong time. close to almost the whole year!

yet i still feel lost. there's ballet tmr evening too.

i miss granny's house. and ooh..my sis just signed on. she's staying on for another 2 weeks till her exams are up. i may accompany here and there in days to come where i have dance in school.

and yes, thank God that her exams dont clash with camp! :)

another wondeful illustration i read in some book dad bought few years back, which i never bothered to read.

people often question, why is it that if God loved each and every one of us so much, why would he still want to send them to hell? why can't he just save everyone unconditionally and allow everyone regardless?

well, i was baffled by it too. but here's what i read and the explanation.

first and foremost,God created the world to be perfect. then, He added in man to occupy the earth and take care of it. He gave man the dominion over every fowl in the air and beast on the earth. ok yes. sth like tt.
however, under the serpent's temptation, and disobediance, sin manifested itself in man. and one thing, is that God hates sin and He cannot stand sin.

so, saddened by how terrible man had become, He gave us another chance by sending Jesus Christ to die for our sins. that the price may be paid in our place. that we do not have to face final death, the penalty for sin. 'For the wages of sin is death, and the gift of God is eternal life'.

Then Jesus came down to earth, born from virgin Mary and hence there's Christmas. in which we commemorate the greatest gift of all to all menkind.

And the whole purpose for Christ was to die on the cross for our sins. it was through His blood shed for us that we no longer have to carry the burden for ourselves as Christ had already paid the price for us.

So now, whoever who believeth in the Lord Jesus Christ, who died for our sins, will be saved and we will not face eternal condemnation to hell.

the price was paid before, now its for us to believe and accept that sacrifice Jesus did in our place.

the analogy given was this. this mother, has a son who had been sentenced to the electric chair. and being a mother, so filled with love for her son, she would be willing to go in place for her son, so that her son might be spared. however, if her son should refuse, and want to go to that electric chair by himself, he will die, and there's nothing the mum can do.

so it's not that God wants to condemn unbelievers, but they, however, do not want to receive Him. after all, we are made with the ability to think for ourselves whether we wanna accept and believe anot. so its not His fault if one wouldnt wanna believe.

It's all about God's love for us. love no man can ever comprehend. as said in John 3:16 'For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish but have everlasting life.'

'Redeemed by the blood of the Lamb.redeemed..,redeemed..,His child and forever i am!' :)
