ALL in all, a short recap.
Wednesday 10 nov
woke up close to afternoon and ate another big breakfast. then i received a msg from viv tt dance was cancelled. why, i dunno. hai. was a lil happy cos due to my recent weight gain (aGAIN) i hate prancing around. takes too much energy and li(4) strength. then got a msg from pearly to ask if wanna go out but i said no. and then hui teng msged to ask if wanna go out and cos i havent met her in a long time, we decided to meet. and hang around orchard. 174 bus ride to town is really looong.
browsing around the booksehlves that morning, i was looking at granny's collection of (really old) books. and picked out a book by a rev paul yugi-oh. or sth like tt. entitled 'how to make your faith work' hmm yep. read it on the way to town and took two days. granny and gogo have other books on improving your walk with god and improved christian living. and i realised, i guess my parents have a whole stack of that too. just that i never noticed.
and for one, a lot of similar topics i find in thier collection is about 'how to raise your kids' or sth like that. all very family oriented. well don't know if they really read each and every one of those books but if they did, then i must say certainly they've spent a lot of time and effort on that hard topic of raising kids, God's way, bla bla.
haha. dunno if those books worked, or if they practised what was advised in the book. hehe. don't think i look like any success story. looks more like situation gone wrong. :P oh but i think perhaps it did work with my sister. she's by far more responsible , more [ insert list of good traits] than me.
walked around town abit and went a lil clothes shopping with the girls. and bummed my way back on 174 thereafter.
granny n gogo went for bible study class and sis n i stayed home n cleared EVERYTHING. on the dinner table. like never eat before. dunno what was sith us. granny added apple crumble in for dessert. but left sis to cook the custard. it never thickened, and we wasted half a bottle of fresh milk. she and i, cant cook. and yes, she nearly burnt the crumble too. in the end, granny came back and whipped up the custard in 10 min flat.
end of the day note: damn! i was soo free! i COULDVe and SHOULDVE gone for atod.
Thursday 11 nov
this was a public holiday i woke up to. went to yunnan restaurant for dimsum with granny and gogo. walked around imm, went to daiso ad saw this raincoat for dogs. and muffy came to mind. there's lotsa innovative things at daiso. and well, everything there goes for 2 bucks. which means the production cost of all those stuff are actualli super cheap. and everything above 2 bucks which people are selling outside the perimeters of daiso are overpriced.
at night, uncle ah yong, auntie huifen and macey and laogu and laokim and laosim and gogo peggy came over for steamboat. oh great. i dont think laosim and gogo peggy were there. and uncle ah yong brought apple strudel over. yummy treat. yea that was thursday.
muffie was getting cheekier. she knew there were people coming and that she was cute, so in the afternoon, she went right into the MIDDLE of the kitchen and happily pee-ed on the floor. the next day, was spent in doggy prison.
note: by this time, i was already ballooning quite badly and it was settling into full swing.
Friday 12 nov
just went to school for math and hkm. then yf retreat after that. sis told granny to inform me to call her when i get back. so i called her and the thing she told me ' chris n jo not styaing. no one is staying.' i stupidly didnt bother to ask chris n jo or confirm. when i reached there, everyone was staying except both of us. stupid right! sis has been getting everything about me wrong the whole week. everything she said was oppoisite of the real thing. that shouldve occured to me. i shouldve just packed and went. oh but consolation -- there's church camp coming right up. won't that be better?
met sinthu and nivida, sinthu's younger sis. super sweet and smart girl. hai. hope can see them soon.
in the evening, we had dessert, supposedly at the kaya toast place but they ran out of bread so we went to coffee bean, next door. which costs three times more. than if we had had supper at the kaya toast place.
saturday 13 nov.
HUI TENG's BIRTHDAY !!
woke up late, went to ballet and then mum n dad came back so they picked me up after arriving at the airport. went for dinner and slept.
sunday 14 nov.
anniversary was good. yup. Thank God for 21 years of providence and protection and care.
evening gospel thing was wonderful. singing by that heavenly melody group was awesome.
after that, we went up to the club and spent the night there w granny, gogo, laosim and gogo peggy. gogo and dad and granny went fishing. only managed to catch ONE fish.granny fished by handline. haha.
monday 15 nov
today was spent travelling around in the car to granny's place from changi, to home, back up to tampines for ballet then back down to plaza for dinner then home.
oh its almost one. gonna sleep. miss my bed and my bolster.
note: im soo fat now, my bed's too small for me. so is my room and the car :(
