ooh ooh! i found out something when i reached school again, at 1! haha. i wasnt the only victim of the zombie mode! jeremy fell prey to it too! and his story was so much better.
it goes like this : he reached school at 7, sat in the canteen and stoned and waited till 8, then he finally realised his paper was in the afternoon. after that, he went home. hahahha! i bet he mustve had a fit in between to be able to last that long without realising.
so there you have it. the colourful characters of 04A3. ah! i so love my class, sometimes, we just give and take but i love it all the same. its the best class ive ever had, where everyone's so crazy and funny, and theres a general bonding between cliques. if there's any bitchiness, at least it goes largely unoticed by me, so i still love A3 :)
lit paper, was ok. the poem was'the night of the scorpion' and the prose was taken from 'of mice and men'. i was quite excited cos i went to watch that play in sec three, i still remember certain parts of it, with lennie and george. so i could imagine the dialogue parts of the prose and how it was acted. but im generally not too good with prose. i considered just trying it for the sake of practice, but no way was i gonna risk my promos, hence, i chose the poem to analyse.
but i cocked it up abit. haha silly again. i said the scorpion was refered to as a scorpion god in native indian culture and miche told me after the paper it was scorpion king, and tt think belongs to egypt! not native indians. also, because of one part of the poem which goes like" and the scorpion taking its black diabolic tail with it, crawled under the rice sack as it continued to rain heavily' in all stupidity, what did i sae?
hear this: in native indian culture, they worship several gods such as the rain god and the scorpion god.perhaps the scorpion retreating signifies that the rain god was more powerful than the scorpion god.'
wah lao! i feel pure stupid la! the examiner's gonna have a laughing good time. argh. at least i made another fella smile cos of my stupidity. but i really gotta keep it in check. its occuring far too often. the examiner will know three things at the end of marking my script. 1, i crap alot alot. 2, i dunno what cultures are from what.3 i must be a traditional narrow minded cheena chinese, not to know anything more, than singapore. argh.
went to westmall after the paper with mich, and had a hershey's sundae pie. i didnt know it tasted so good. and it contains 310 calories too. theres always a price to pay for everything. we walked all over the place and managed to get some hair accessories in the end. i got a hairband. [the one my sis broke a few months ago, never showed up as compensation] and split a few hair pins with michelle.
a lil spending does lift the spirit!
then after wasting alot alot of time, and looking for deodorant, for two daes i have been doing the same thing, we went back at 5. im despo for deodorant. i have no more deo. its running out. in a couple of days, i'll be stinky in school. i used the dove one clean to the bottom of the bottle, and the fa is finishing too. the only available ones on the market are nivea, dove and fa. i wanna try fa, but the scents offered are funny. for a change, i should divert away from dove. and nivea, i dont like the smell. so from todae on, ive been psycho-ing myself to like the greentea scent of fa. but mich says she'll not stand next to me if i should get it. i told her hah! one day if i stand next to you and you smell sth familiar, you know what i finally bought over the weekend :P
im in need of deodorant. and its so limited the stocks now. can u imagine, with only about 5 available brands on the market,everyones smelling like everyone. the more popular ones being dove and nivea.
at the interchange, we encountered a DOOR STOPPER. least tts wad i call him. he was blocking the entry to the que for the bus at the interchange. he got up the same bus as us and alighted at the same stop as mich. and he lives in her condo. wahhaha! then now she thinks i like the doorstopper. -.-
i told her i'll show her better ones on thurs.
tomorrow will be the last paper, its in the morning. i got that right. i'll be in school by 810. and by 910 i'll be free. am i suppsoed to study for econs? ee! but matt said he has been praying, so i shouldnt let his prayers go to waste. haha. okok. for the sake of his prayer, i shall read john sloman tonight as my bedtime story.
baowei may just be right. despite the promos ending, i dont feel happy. besides, not as if ive been working so hard. ive been shitting thru most of my papers.
and, with effect from tomorrow, we'll be 23 days away from chinese ao. this last time, i do plan to study for it. trust me i will. in order to get D7. i will study for it. stupid eh? my chinese is so crap. i have to STUDY for a fail grade. wonderful.
