Econs paper 2 n 3 is over! a big big relief! the next two bothersome things are p4 tomorrow and human geog next monday.
although there's still papers tomorrow, im feeling so relaxed and my burden released. all the grinding subjects of phy geog and econs's over! the rest are in drips and draps. i pray i do get O for econs, then i can promote. through all the joke about hong kong man and everything, i guess we still gotta learn to be glad for his subject, cos if his subject should give me an O, and that's all im asking for, i get to be promoted! whee!~ and that would be..the 'achievement of the year' kinda thing. its rather major you know..
after the paper, pearly michelle and i went to jp for lunch. from then on, craziness just got the better of us. banquet at jp is daylight robbery. imagine a bowl of mango ice kachang for $3.50? now what is that? im still thinking of my yummylicious bowl of ice-kachang going at $1 from marsiling, opposite church. ahaha. this is good.
[digressing] any food junkie out there, you can come to 10 marsiling lane on a sunday morning and sit through worship service from 930 to 11. after that, u can take a lil break, eat some khong guan biscuits or whatever's offered on the fellowship hall table, and go for sunday school at 1130. there's classes for everyone! for all ages, from teeny tiny tots, to adults class. oh! there's even a ladies class! its very informative and you will really feel the goods of being a women. just the pure pleasure of it in that class. and after all that, as a treat, at 1230, u get to go to the market opposite for lunch and then u can finally relish your nicely piled up bowl of softly shaven ice, with lotsa brown sugar syrup and 3 to four atapchees!! for a treat. deal? haha. oh take note, its the stall with the purple bowl! dont buy from the wrong stall then go off fuming mad that u wasted your whole sunday morning. anyway, if that should happen, remember your sunday would've been a blessed one spent in the house of God early in the morning :)
yea so anywae, banquet is really too expensive. daylight robbery infact. standard ice-kachang's 1.80. i still dont get it how mango topping can cost as much as $1.70.
then in high spirits, we walked around the whole place, to fairpirce and liberty market. and we're still wondering why do they have two super markets in on shopping centre..i think! its to do with...oligopoly! hahaha. aiyah whatever la. i have no idea whatsoever.
then we bought jelly, and marshmellows, sushi and talked crap. like how pearly's insides are made of granite hence she cant shit or something, whilst mine's of limestone so when i shit its all laosai...tt girl is just so silly! thanks ah! and then we went to body shop and the lady was so pissed with us she was like.. 'oh you're suppsoed to spray on the paper' 'oh would u like me to spray for you?' gawsh. customer service is good but customer bitchness is certainly not accepted thank you. so we went out after that. and then we looked at rings..somehow. and i discovered the average ring costs between a thousand to two. some extreme cases include 5 figure sums. i even had to count each digit to make sure. ahh. and the brilliant rose diamond is chao ji BIG. i was just thinking it'd get caught in everything u wanna do. so mah fun. oh tt idea abt ur stuff getting caught in your clothes or whatveer was a very nice idea contributed by mother through my 17 years of life. she used to say sth like if you have big bulky ornamental stuff on you, somehow, when youre standing at the roadside waiting to cross or flag a taxi, a big bus or lorry will come by, and hook up your, lets say brilliante rose diamond and drag you, then you will die. haha. no kidding. she used to sermonise on something along those lines. oh another one was something to do with your long flowly dress getting caught of not tying your hair properly or sth. i finally dont see the link anymore. i used to BELIEVE her. until i recently, realised the absurdity of it all. sighs. oh another one goes like this...dont sit right in front on the second level of the sbs bus, cos if theres an accident and the bus should crash into something, it would pierce through the screen and through you, or in another case, the force from the accident will send you flying through the glass. and in my mind, i was thinking some big lorry[dont ask y its always lorries :/ ], transporting some logs or long stuff, will be driving in front, then the bus driver will bang into him, then those logs will crash right through the screen and then you kena. yup. only todae did i realise that's not possible cos we're on a double decker bus, second level. and no lorry is that high. oh..maybe i was stupid all along. maybe what she really meant was that if the bus should ever go up the curb and crash into the nearby tree, the tree branch will smash into the glass and pierce through your skull. ahh that sounds more realistic. or does it not?
ok and then after that, we went home at 3? we amazingly spent 2 hours around the building. in supermarkets of all places. but i still love supermarkets the most. theres no other stall i walk into, except supermarkets, in which i wanna buy almost everything i see! i love supermarkets. hmm...thinking on another tangent, why didnt they name a market structure 'super markets' ?then we'll have perfect competition, monopoly, monopolistic competition, oligopoly, AND supermarkets!!!
on the way home, on 180, i saw a chicken head in front of me. no kidding. obviously, it was your average young yuppie guy trying to look cool. he was sitting with his Mother, and his hairstyle was that of a chicken. it was almost insulting to his mother. she looked as if she gave birth to a chicken, or worse, copulated with a chicken. now both impressions are just as sick. i should cut it out! but really his sense of stye..i guess in modern day, he's suppsoed to be a walking statement of cool and in the crowd. nicely dyed golden brown hair, quite cleanly shaved at the sides. he really would've looked decent if not for his, CHICKEN FEATHERS at the top of his head. he rocks. por por keee! mohawks are still ok and quite cute on certain individuals. but chicken feathers? no no..not anydae.he looked like a turkey turned upside down with its giblets stark on ends, defying gravity.
then i alighted at bukit panjang plaza to get boy boy's bedding. so my sis can change his bedding before he expires. on my wae home i was thinking,,people buy pets and upkeep them so they can bring joy and happiness to them, laughter and fun. but what about when your pet has degenrated? eg:boyboy. we buy box after box of walnutshells, packet after packet of food, share our family oates with him and give him lotsa fruits and vegetables. sometimes we buy fruits with him in mind...strawberries, grapes or apples, pears and once in a while dragon fruits. so all he does is quietly clears up whatever's given to him. oh he also taps a tiny insignificant amount of our water supply for his daily drinking needs. but the difference is, he's degenerated. he's ugly and not too presentable anymore. he doesnt climb around much and he's turning old. on top of that, he has cancer and is almost pink in the face because of lack of fur. his eyes are buldging. he used to look like a handsome hunk in his younger days but not anymore. although we still upkeep him, he's not giving us much joy. maybe he realises and he tries to run in his wheel very often to try impress us that he's still a hardworking boy and grow a lil bit more fur whenever he can to make us feel our spending on him is worthwhile after all. but seriously, im starting to think he's becoming a lil more like a liability. he's not fully functional like a normal average hamster. but oh well, i guess he has his mertis in that he's a special hamster. just special in a negative wae, but still special. he's operating on a monopolistic market structure in which being housed in fajar rd has made him become this special indirectly, it serves as a natural barrier to entry for other hamsters. hehe :P ok so we still love boy boy :P
being halfway through promos, i was just thinking how much of schooling ive been through to be at this supposedly 'advanced' level of learning. and it dawned on me that at the end of it all, what ive learned is nothing much. its just the ability, above all sorts of rubbish like 'creative learning, innovation and critical thinking' to be able to crap so so much. even if you dont know a proper ans or whatever, u still go on and talk and blabber. and rant and anything but solid proper ans. oh well, that's what education has brought about. the ability to talk empty cock. maybe the length of this blog entry is prove of it all eh.
charlene said a lil' prayer for you at 3:58 PM
