Crunch.Crunch.Chrunch. Haa..i'm sitting in fornt of my com havinh my cereal breakfast. Cranberry Almond Crunch...with my fav meiji milk(the last part of it is alsready in my cereal bowl) and i just developed this idead of dunking two famous amos cookies into the milk, and eat the 'oreo style' hahaz.Hmm...yumm...i realise, i do soo many naughtty things behind my momm'y back...one of her rules, is -no eating in the rooms- and i am sooo breaking that rule, happily muncing away on cookies, and cereal... -notti notti- *guilty*
Eee.... the cereal's getting all soggy :x
My favourite meal of the day, i announce, is -> Breakfast!!! :D u see, its the first meal of the day, and so, i think it's the yummiest, and, also, when i eat alot alot at bfast, i wunt feel guilty, cos..ive got the rest of the day to burn off all the calories...heez. Dinner out is nice too...but...hahaz..if i overeat-i alwaeys do- , i'd feel so guilty guikty, and soo pig, id always wanna die after tht...poof.
Aniwae, the reason y im up here so early, typing this, is cos..i woke up late and missed the time to make it to the first chinese compo class..so..now, i guess il just leave earlier during the second class. i realli hate to say it, but i really HAVE a problem with waking up. be it early of late, the moment im asleep and u try get me up, pull n drag me outta bed...il always end up late.. Ahh..about the chinese compo class...i'm beginning to think that mayve im not even up to standard to attend such an advanced chinese class!! all the tips they gave about writing a compo..hmm..can hardly remember...ok..lemme try, b good k? il go fish out those notes from the past two days and record it down here ok? so at least, i'll b able to see an english version here :) hmm...okaaay..i dont even know how to read some of the things i copied down, but here goes aniway...
Basically, there r 5 types of compos...they are, a memoire account, or descriptive esaay of perhaps the morning feng jing in the park, an expression of your point of view, and feelings , and the emphasis was greater on the last two points, shuo ming wen- like saving water..ni de kan fa... and lastly, tao lun wen- your views. where u comment and it. this and shuo ming wen very much alike, cant realli se the diff, but ive derived the fact, that.. shuo ming wen, is abt facts.. and tao lun..ure more free to express wad U feel, and Your ideas.
In lun shuo wen, the point is to "make a point, dont sit on the fence" first, u tell abt the point , signify its bad n gd points, then after that, think on how u can further bring out the gd points, and correct the bad points. Next impt point, is to look for the gist of the topic in the question, and work around it, and not sth else. for eg..in "saving water" the gist is..in SAVING.. yea..sth liddat. And also, in writting a compo, its very impt to add in the shi jian, di dian, ren wu, shu liang(wadever tht is!!) so..the impt impt thing in a compo is to give eg n facts..ok..so yea... let me go on! common mistakes, are...cannot base your assumtions on ONE incident.. must come from a series.. second mistake, can't base the point on PAST facts.. outadated facts r no no!! thirdly, cant't base from t=just one thing u saw, to view the WHOLE sgp with that problem.. cant.." use one pole to overturn a whole boat of pple" metaphor, using the pole as the reason, and the boat of pple, the whole sgp..or wadever.. " yi zhu kan, da fan yi chuan ren" Also, don't go into story telling mode, cos in the exam, we only have limited time, and so, wouldnt have time to go all draggy and long. And also, be cautious not to write out of point, make usre all the facts r in lieu with the topic u writting abt. Lastly, we were taught how to have a good ending..and the ending is just as impactful and important as the starting. Can use nice..cheng yu's to descrip wad u feel, can also use metaphors..eg: earth is the mother of all things, life's cradle" hehex..i translated tht mansh! and dont be naive in your last part, resulting in stupidity! hahaz. Ok..so i guess,, that's all about the course lor.Hey!!! i must say im impressed with myself k!! hehehx... waaaah! not bad lah, i did get sth out of the course in the end :) ahha...ok...so..lets just see this as a blessing in disguise, that i woke up late, so..i got time to reflect on the course and so, understand it at a greater depth :) - claps, proud of my accomplishment-

It's friday again todae, marks the last day of this short holiday. hahaz..quite happy with myself, managed to finish my wrk on tuesdae. hehex..i did do the eng compre int he end:) just that i finished it on tuesdae..went for a movie at tm on wednesday..watched " maid in manhattan" waah..the story is soo cliche and soo cinderally, better in fact, cos..everything just went smoothly for her! no step sista's watsoever. Im soo amazed with tm! there's sooo many things under one building! just look at the food man!! they have california lemon hot dog in the dip , famoous amos, fish n co, steamboat, crepes n creme, shuchi...seoul garden, pizzahut, KFC, breadtalk, breeks, kenny rodgers...and of course..macdonalds...hehex..i realised, that i coul;dnt think of any shopping centra which didnt have a macs ok! that stupid fast food plants itself everywhere on the island! in every estate! gosh!
Hmm..ok..surely took damn loong to type this out! i shall go study geog..got CA coming up soon.... *mug* *mug* *mug* 10:31A.M.
